
Analysis of the latest development status and prospects of ceramic anti-corrosion coatings
China has successfully developed various industrial anti-corrosion coatings, which play an important role in preventing corrosion of metal structures. However, so far, the development of heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings in China still cannot meet the needs of large-scale engineering construction. High tech anti-corrosion coatings have a significant gap in variety and quality compared to actual demand, and the problem of short shelf life is common. Anti corrosion coatings with special properties, especially high solid content and solvent-free heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, cannot meet the long-term anti-corrosion needs of a large number of offshore and coastal facilities, water conservancy projects, petrochemical projects, and metallurgical construction projects in China. It is necessary to strengthen the research and development of protective coating systems with long service life to meet the needs of heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings for major engineering construction in China. Heavy corrosion at high temperatures makes it difficult for general anti-corrosion coatings to meet requirements and has a short service life, causing a lot of waste to the industrial economy. Recently, Beijing Zhisheng Weihua Chemical Co., Ltd. located in Dongtieying, Fengtai District has successively developed and produced ZS-821 ceramic anti-corrosion coating and ZS-822 composite ceramic high-temperature anti-corrosion coating. The author understands that both ZS anti-corrosion coatings can be regarded as outstanding in anti-corrosion coatings. ZS anti-corrosion coating materials are inorganic nano powders - aluminum oxide, boron carbide, rare earth oxide, etc. after ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure treatment. These powders will form a single layer structure of inorganic spinel after ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure treatment. The lattice of the materials will be repaired, and the synergistic effect of internal force corrosion resistance of the materials will be greatly increased. This ensures that after the coating is heated at a relatively low temperature, it can form a ceramic anti-corrosion coating. The coating is of cross-linked glass phase compact structure, with excellent corrosion resistance, high hardness and wear resistance, and can withstand the corrosion of acid and alkali liquids, corrosive gases for a long time, and even the corrosion and friction of strong acids and alkalis.
The author summarizes the advantages of Zhisheng Weihua ZS ceramic anti-corrosion coating compared to other anti-corrosion coatings, including:
1. High temperature resistance: ZS ceramic anti-corrosion coating has high temperature resistance, and composite ceramic high-temperature anti-corrosion coating can withstand temperatures up to 1400 ℃. The maximum temperature resistance of general anti-corrosion coatings is only about 400 ℃;
2. High hardness: ZS ceramic anti-corrosion coating can form a dense ceramic structure at high temperatures, with a hardness of 5-6H, wear-resistant and impact resistant, doubling the hardness of traditional anti-corrosion coatings;
3. Wide range of acid and alkali resistance: Zhisheng Weihua ceramic anti-corrosion coating can withstand weak acid and alkali corrosion, strong acid and alkali corrosion, waterproof and moisture-proof. Zhisheng ceramic anti-corrosion coating can also prevent acid and alkali gas corrosion, with a wide range of pH resistance, wider application range than traditional anti-corrosion coatings, higher corrosion resistance, and longer service life;
4. Water based environmental protection: ZS ceramic anti-corrosion coatings are all processed from pure inorganic materials, which do not produce any VOCs, are environmentally friendly, do not pollute the environment, and are harmless to human health. They have incomparable environmental protection compared to traditional anti-corrosion coatings/paints.
High temperature reaction vessels in industry are highly corrosive, and the temperature is high, making it difficult for general anti-corrosion coatings to resist. Ceramic anti-corrosion coatings can be used for a long time with good anti-corrosion effects. The irreplaceability of ceramic anti-corrosion coatings.
